Quick Tableau Tip – Formatting Workbooks

Updated: May 18, 2021

Formatting your vizzes can be time consuming if done worksheet by worksheet for large workbooks – that’s why sometimes you need a quick way to accomplish this and save your time for actual problem solving tasks.

Personally, when working on huge projects with large workbooks – I prefer to do formatting at workbook level. To ensure that there is consistence in use of fonts and lines across my workbook.

You can format your workbook by opening the Format menu >> Workbook… And customize your fonts and lines appropriately.

Using this tip saves your time – as you don’t need to scan across your workbook to validate consistency in formatting.
