Overview
Project based learning is simply learning by actively engaging in a real-world data visualization problem solving. At the beginning of every project you'll be given some data and a problem to solve, and through the guidance of your instructor - you'll learn step-by-step on how to solve the problem.

THE PROJECTS
Project 1: Business Performance Dashboard
Performance dashboard is a management tool used to gauge performance and enable business-people measure, monitor, and manage business processes. In this project, you’ll learn how to create a performance dashboard to empower business managers track important performance metrics.
By the end of this project, a student should be able to create a business dashboard to track goals (target metrics) against the actual metrics across different business KPIs and timelines.

Project 2: Sales Overview Dashboard (Tableau + Figma)
Sales dashboard is a tool that enables business managers effectively monitor and track sales KPIs in one central place. In this project, you’ll not only learn how to create a simple sales overview dashboard, but also how to build modern dashboards like a pro designer - by leveraging Figma (a web-based prototyping tool for designing interfaces)

Project 3: Executive Dashboard
Executive dashboard is a tool used by business executives to keep track of the most important business information (KPI’s – key performance indicators) in the least amount of time. In this project you’re going to learn how to create an executive dashboard to track the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of an organization between two periods.

Project 4: Survey Analysis Dashboard (Visualizing Survey Data)
Survey analysis dashboard is a tool that allows users explore and filter survey items or data based on various demographic profiles. In this project, you'll learn how to analyze survey data in Tableau.

Prerequisites
Participants should have at-least intermediate level understanding of Tableau. For example, you should be able to do the following;
Connect to data and have at least some basic understanding of Tableau terminologies such as dimensions, measures, discrete vs continuous, how Tableau interprets data etc.
Create a Tableau data source (understand different techniques of combining, shaping, and preparing data)
Build basic to intermediate visualizations with filters
(Such as bar charts, line charts, bullets charts, donut charts etc.)
Be able to create calculated fields
Create simple maps in Tableau
Create simple interactive dashboards
